Dolomite White Ice Grey Marble is a premium natural stone with a luminous white and pale grey ground accented by fine silver and charcoal veining, sourced from select quarries in Asia. Its crystalline surface and cool, icy tones give it a refined elegance that bridges classic marble tradition with contemporary minimalism.

Presented in a polished mosaic format, the tile surface is ground and buffed to a high sheen that intensifies the stone's natural color depth and veining contrast. Mounted on fiberglass mesh backing, each sheet is easy to handle and align, making installation significantly faster than setting individual pieces — simply press the sheet into thinset and adjust as needed.

This mosaic is best suited for interior wall applications including bathroom shower walls, niche accents, kitchen backsplashes, and powder room feature walls. Because this is a clearance or special-buy item, we strongly recommend ordering a sample to verify shade and veining before committing to a full order, and purchasing 10–15% overage to account for cuts and future repairs.

Processing & Delivery: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Large orders ship via LTL freight — curbside delivery only. An adult must be present to sign for delivery. Estimated transit: 2–10 business days after shipment.

30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Sealing: Dolomite White Ice Grey marble must be sealed before grouting and again after installation. In wet areas such as showers, reapply a penetrating stone sealer every 6–12 months to prevent moisture intrusion and staining. The pale white ground is especially susceptible to absorbing oils, soap scum, and mineral deposits, so consistent sealing is critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth or sponge. Never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers — acidic products will etch the polished surface and dull its high-gloss finish permanently. Wipe up spills immediately, especially oils, wine, and coffee.

Installation: Use bright white polymer-modified thinset to avoid any grey shadowing through the pale stone. Apply non-sanded grout for mosaic joints under 1/8 inch. Back-butter each sheet lightly in addition to combing thinset onto the substrate for full coverage and bond. Allow full cure before grouting, and use a damp sponge carefully to avoid dragging grout across the polished face.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
