Sealing: Haisa Light is a porous natural stone and must be sealed before installation and after grouting. Apply a penetrating impregnating sealer and reseal every 12–18 months in showers and other wet areas. The honed finish is more absorbent than polished stone, so thorough sealing is especially important.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), bleach, or abrasive scrubbers — acids will etch and dull the honed surface. Wipe spills promptly, especially from coffee, wine, and citrus juices, to prevent staining.

Installation: Use white or light-gray polymer-modified thinset to prevent any dark adhesive from telegraphing through the stone. Back-butter each tile for full coverage. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch or sanded grout for wider joints. Allow full cure time before sealing.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
