Sealing: Haisa Light marble is a porous natural stone and must be sealed prior to grouting and installation. Apply a premium penetrating stone sealer and reapply every 12 months for interior walls, or every 6 months for exterior or high-humidity environments such as near pools or outdoor kitchens. The split-face texture increases surface area and porosity, making thorough sealing especially important.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in water and a soft brush to reach into the textured relief surface. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, and abrasive scrubbers, all of which can etch or discolor the stone. Do not use high-pressure washing on interior panels; for exterior surfaces, low-pressure rinsing is acceptable.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through on the warm, light-toned stone. Back-butter each panel in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for maximum bond coverage on the uneven split-face surface. Ensure the wall substrate is flat, plumb, and properly waterproofed for any wet or exterior applications; use tile spacers or level strings to maintain consistent horizontal alignment across panels.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
