Sealing: Haisa Light is a relatively porous warm-toned marble that should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and immediately after installation. In wet areas such as shower surrounds, reseal every 12 months or as needed to maintain water resistance and prevent staining. Test with a few drops of water — if the stone absorbs rather than beads, it is time to reseal.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon, bleach, or ammonia-based products), as the honed surface of marble is highly susceptible to etching and dulling from acid exposure. Wipe up spills — especially oils, wine, and citrus — promptly to prevent staining of this light-toned stone.

Installation: Use white or light grey non-sanded thinset mortar to prevent any dark adhesive from telegraphing through the light-colored chips. Back-butter each sheet lightly for better adhesion on walls. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch to avoid scratching the honed surface. Align mesh sheets carefully during installation and allow full cure time before grouting. A tile leveling system is recommended to keep all chips flush.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.

Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
