Quarried from Mediterranean deposits, this vein-cut stone showcases the travertine's characteristic horizontal layering — soft ivory, warm beige, and taupe tones flowing in elegant linear bands across each panel.

Each panel is honed to a smooth, matte finish that highlights the stone's natural veining without the reflectivity of a polish, giving spaces a grounded, organic luxury feel. The stacked linear configuration and mesh-backed construction allow these panels to install much like a standard wall tile, drastically reducing labor time while delivering the dramatic visual impact of hand-laid stone cladding.

This panel is ideally suited for interior feature walls, living room or bedroom accent walls, fireplace surrounds, and exterior-facing residential walls in mild climates — note that it is not recommended for floor applications due to the raised relief texture. Sealing: Travertine is a porous stone and must be sealed before grouting and after installation. Apply a penetrating stone sealer to all honed travertine surfaces, paying special attention to any open-pore fills. In moisture-prone areas such as kitchens or outdoor walls, reseal annually to protect against staining and water infiltration. For interior dry walls, resealing every 2–3 years is generally sufficient.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Avoid all acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products), alkaline degreasers, and abrasive scrubbing pads, which can etch the honed surface and erode grout joints over time. Wipe spills promptly — oils and tannin-rich liquids can penetrate unsealed travertine quickly.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent color bleed-through on the light ivory stone. Back-butter each panel in addition to troweling the wall substrate for full coverage and a secure bond. Align mesh-backed panels carefully at seams to maintain consistent joint width and a seamless stacked appearance. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch; sanded grout may be appropriate for wider fills between relief pieces. Allow full cure before sealing.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
