A deep marine blue bullnose with a soft semi-gloss glaze, made to finish exposed tile edges cleanly.

Meknes Marine is a saturated blue glaze, ranging from teal-touched navy to classic cobalt. The semi-gloss surface adds depth to the color with a soft sheen, rather than full reflectivity.

This 1×8 bullnose has one rounded long edge. Use it to cap a backsplash, frame a border or finish a wainscot without metal trim. It is sold per piece, so pair it with a coordinating field tile. Expect slight tonal variation from piece to piece.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

The glazed surface does not need sealing. In wet areas, seal grout joints with a penetrating grout sealer at installation and reseal yearly.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral tile cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Avoid vinegar, citrus cleaners, bleach and abrasive pads, which can dull the glaze.

Expect This

Slight tonal variation from piece to piece is normal (V2). Inspect tile before installing, and order about 10% extra for cuts and future repairs.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

What is a bullnose tile used for?

It gives you a finished, rounded edge where tile stops, such as a backsplash perimeter, wainscot top or border. It can replace metal edge trim. Face the rounded edge outward at every exposed end.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order, and ship free within 1-3 business days. Seeing the blue in your own light is the best way to judge it, since screens vary.

Do I need a separate field tile?

You can pair it with any coordinating field tile. This piece is sold per piece and is made to finish the edge of another surface. White subway tile makes a crisp contrast with the marine blue.

Can I use it on a floor or outdoors?

Use it on indoor walls, backsplashes and wainscoting. It is not rated for floor traffic, and the glaze is not rated for freeze-thaw conditions, so it is best kept off floors and outdoor areas.

Does it qualify for free shipping?

Yes. As a molding, it ships free on orders over $1,999. Smaller orders ship at the rate calculated at checkout.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
