30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Sealing: Nero Marquina marble must be sealed with a penetrating natural stone sealer prior to installation and again after grouting. In wet areas such as showers, re-seal every 12 months to prevent moisture infiltration and staining. Despite its dark color, the white veining is particularly susceptible to discoloration from hard water and soap residue if left unsealed.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop only — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), alkaline degreasers, or abrasive scrubbers. The polished finish is especially vulnerable to etching from acidic substances; wipe spills immediately. Avoid harsh bathroom tile sprays that are not specifically formulated for natural stone.

Installation: Use white or light gray polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent bleed-through on the polished surface. Non-sanded grout is recommended for joints under 1/8 inch; sanded grout may scratch the polished chips. Align mesh sheets carefully before setting to maintain consistent honeycomb geometry. Apply a grout release or sealer to tile faces before grouting to ease cleanup on the glossy surface.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
