Noce Travertine is a richly toned natural stone celebrated for its warm palette of walnut browns, golden ambers, and deep mocha, formed over millennia in mineral-rich spring deposits across the Middle East and Mediterranean regions. Each piece carries the distinctive voids, linear veining, and organic texture that make travertine one of the most enduring and beloved natural stones in architecture.

This 12×24 coping tile features a 5 cm bullnose drop edge and a brushed finish that opens the stone's natural pores for enhanced grip — a critical safety feature for pool and spa surrounds. The large format minimizes grout joints along the pool perimeter, creating a clean, upscale appearance with a surface that stays cool underfoot even in direct sun.

Ideal for in-ground pool coping, raised spa walls, retaining wall caps, and outdoor stair nosings, this piece is rated for exterior wet-area use and withstands freeze-thaw cycles when properly sealed. Because coping is a specialized trim product, we strongly recommend ordering a sample before purchasing and consulting your installer regarding bond beam dimensions and overhang requirements.

Free Shipping: This product ships at standard freight rates calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Processing & Delivery: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Large orders ship via LTL freight — curbside delivery only. An adult must be present to sign for delivery. Estimated transit: 2–10 business days after shipment.

30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Exclusions: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses. Additional charges may apply for remote delivery areas.

Sealing: Noce Travertine must be sealed with a penetrating, impregnating sealer specifically formulated for porous travertine before installation and grouting. For pool coping and outdoor wet areas, reseal every 12 months or as directed by the sealer manufacturer. The open voids and brushed texture increase porosity, making diligent sealing essential to prevent water infiltration, algae growth, and staining from pool chemicals.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted per manufacturer instructions. Avoid all acidic cleaners including vinegar, citrus-based products, and pool chemical splashes directly on the stone surface, as acids will etch and pit travertine. For routine outdoor maintenance, rinse with fresh water after pool chemical treatments. Never use pressure washers at high PSI, which can enlarge natural voids over time.

Installation: Use a polymer-modified, exterior-rated thinset mortar compatible with natural stone and suitable for submerged or wet outdoor conditions. Back-butter each piece fully to eliminate voids beneath the coping, which can trap water and cause cracking in freeze-thaw climates. Grout joints should be filled with a sanded, polymer-modified grout rated for exterior and pool use. Verify that the bond beam dimensions accommodate the 5 cm drop edge overhang before ordering. Consult a licensed pool contractor for structural installation requirements.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Order 10% overage for cuts, waste, and future repairs. Tile & Mosaic Depot specialists are available M–F 8:30AM–5PM PST at 855-797-8453.

Product & Installation Guidance

Natural stone is a product of the earth — every piece is one of a kind. A little planning ensures your finished installation looks its best and lasts for decades.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.

Responsibility
Tile & Mosaic Depot is not responsible for improper installation, labor costs, substrate conditions, product misuse, or damage from improper handling, sealing, maintenance, or harsh chemicals. No claims, returns, or replacements can be accepted on installed material.

California Proposition 65: Some natural stone products contain substances known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Order a Sample First

Seeing real stone in your own space — under your own light, beside your own finishes — is the best way to buy with confidence. We make it easy and affordable.

How It Works
Samples are just $7.99 each with free shipping, and they ship in 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability, typically ranging from 3"×3" up to 8"×8". Exact dimensions aren't guaranteed, but every sample is cut from the same material you'll receive in a full order.

What a Sample Shows
Samples help you evaluate the general color, texture, finish, and overall character of a product before committing to a full order. Because natural stone varies from piece to piece, your sample is representative — it may not capture the complete range of variation across an entire lot. For current lot photos, just ask our team.
