Sealing: Palissandro Skyline marble should be sealed with a high-quality penetrating stone sealer before grouting and immediately after installation. In wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors, reseal every 12 months or as needed; test by sprinkling water on the surface — if it absorbs rather than beads, it is time to reseal.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water; rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid all acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus, bleach) and abrasive scrubbers — the honed finish is particularly susceptible to etching from acidic substances, which will leave dull marks on the matte surface.

Installation: Use a high-quality white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent shadowing through the lighter areas of the stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to troweling the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent lippage. Allow for 1/16-inch to 1/8-inch grout joints and use an unsanded or fine-sanded grout matched to the stone's undertone; larger-format tiles benefit from a flat, well-prepared substrate — any deviation will be amplified at this scale.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
