Sealing: Glazed ceramic does not require sealing. The glaze layer provides a non-porous surface that resists moisture and staining without any topical sealer. Grout joints in wet areas such as showers should be sealed with a quality penetrating grout sealer upon installation and resealed annually.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Avoid harsh scrubbing pads, acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), or abrasive powders that can dull or scratch the satin glaze surface. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning to prevent residue buildup.

Installation: Install with a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any color bleed-through on the satin glaze. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch. Ensure a fully supported adhesive bed behind each trim piece — back-butter each pencil bullnose individually for complete coverage. Align the rounded bullnose edge flush and consistently along the termination line for a professional finish.

Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
