Sealing: Seagrass Limestone must be sealed prior to grouting and resealed every 12–18 months, or more frequently in wet areas such as showers and around sinks. Use a penetrating (impregnating) stone sealer rated for limestone. The honed finish, while more forgiving than polished, is still susceptible to staining from oils and acids.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or microfiber cloth. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products), alkaline degreasers, and abrasive scrubbers — all of which can etch or dull the honed surface. Wipe up spills, especially from wine, coffee, and citrus, immediately to prevent staining.

Installation: Use a white or gray polymer-modified thinset mortar appropriate for large-format tiles. Back-buttering each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate is strongly recommended to achieve full coverage and prevent lippage. Use tile leveling clips for large 24×24 format. A grout joint of at least 1/16" is recommended to accommodate natural stone dimensional variation. Install over a flat, stable substrate — deflection will cause cracking.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
