Sierra Graphite Linen0.6 × 12 Pencil, Matte Linen

A slim graphite glass pencil with a fine linen texture, made to frame tile and define edges on interior walls.

Sierra Graphite Linen is a pencil molding in deep charcoal glass. The matte surface carries a fine linen texture, so it diffuses light instead of reflecting it. The cool graphite tone has a faint smoky depth.

At 0.6 × 12 inches, it works as a border, a horizontal band, or a clean edge around a niche or backsplash. Slight tonal shifts within the linen texture are normal. Order a sample for $7.99 to check color and texture against your field tile. Samples ship free.

  • Niche & Shelf FramingDefines a recessed niche with a clean edge.
  • Tile Transition StripA visual break between two wall tiles.
  • FloorsNot rated for floor or high-traffic surfaces.
  • Outdoor SpacesIntended for interior use only.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Glass is non-porous and does not need sealing. Seal the grout joints beside it, especially in wet areas.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral, non-abrasive glass cleaner or mild soap and warm water. Skip acidic or alkaline cleaners, vinegar, and abrasive pads, which can dull the linen texture.

Expect This

Slight tonal shifts within the linen texture are normal. Dry-fit the layout first, and order about 10% extra for cuts and repairs.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Questions

Where can I use this molding?

Use it on interior walls, backsplashes and niches, or as a border or horizontal band. It is not rated for floors or high-traffic surfaces, so keep it on walls.

Will my order look exactly like the photo or sample?

A $7.99 sample lets you see the color and linen texture in your own light before you buy. This molding has slight tonal shifts (V2), so treat the sample as a guide to the overall look rather than a match for every piece.

How do I order a sample?

Add up to 10 samples to your order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

What should I use to install it?

Your installer chooses the setting method and materials. For glass, white thinset keeps anything from showing through, and non-sanded grout suits narrow joints. Back-butter each piece and hold it in line with painter's tape while the adhesive cures.

Why Order a Sample
A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

Good to Know

  • Samples are final sale — non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • We recommend sampling before every full order, especially for natural stone.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Questions Before You Order?
Call (855) 797-8453 or email sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5 PM PT. If you're unsure about freight access at your address, ask us before checkout — we'll flag anything that could hold up delivery.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.

Responsibility
Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. We are not responsible for installation, labor costs, substrate conditions, setting materials, product misuse, or damage from handling, sealing, maintenance, or chemicals. No claims, returns, or replacements are accepted on installed material.

California Proposition 65
Some natural stone and porcelain products contain substances known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. Details at www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
