Sealing: Thassos White is a dense but highly porous white marble that should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before installation and after grouting. In wet areas such as showers, reapply sealer every 6–12 months to prevent moisture intrusion and staining. The pure white color makes any unsealed stain highly visible, so consistent sealing is especially critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus, or bleach-based products), as they will etch the polished surface and dull its reflective finish permanently. Wipe up spills immediately, particularly from acidic substances like wine, coffee, or fruit juice. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the polish.

Installation: Always use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray bleed-through on this bright white stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to spreading thinset on the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent lippage on the large-format tiles. Use a non-sanded or fine-sanded grout depending on joint width, and choose a white or light grout to maintain the seamless, bright aesthetic.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
