Sealing: Thassos White is a dense but porous crystalline marble that must be sealed before grouting and after installation. Apply a premium penetrating stone sealer and reapply every 12 months in shower and wet-area applications. Because of its pure white color, any unsealed exposure to moisture or minerals is highly visible — do not skip or delay sealing.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a mild diluted dish soap and a soft cloth or mop — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), bleach, or abrasive scrubbers. The polished finish is susceptible to etching from acidic substances and will show water spots more readily than a honed surface; wipe spills, especially from citrus or wine, immediately.

Installation: Always use bright-white polymer-modified thinset mortar — grey thinset will telegraph through the stone and discolor the finished surface. Use non-sanded grout for the tight mosaic joints (joints under 1/8 inch). Align mesh sheets carefully, butting edges snugly to maintain consistent hex geometry. Back-butter each sheet lightly in addition to spreading thinset on the substrate to ensure full, void-free coverage beneath the chips.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
