Sealing: Thassos White is a dense marble but its pure white color makes staining highly visible, so sealing is strongly recommended. Apply a premium penetrating stone sealer before grouting and re-seal every 6–12 months in shower or backsplash applications. Consistent sealing is the single most important step in preserving the pristine appearance of white marble.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a few drops of mild dish soap diluted in warm water — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaners, as these will etch the honed surface and dull its smooth finish. Wipe up spills promptly, especially oils, wine, and citrus, to prevent staining the white stone.

Installation: Always use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent gray thinset from telegraphing through the translucent white stone. For grout joints typical of this mosaic format, use a non-sanded (unsanded) grout to avoid scratching the honed chip faces. Align mesh sheets carefully edge-to-edge before pressing to maintain consistent joint width, and back-butter any individual chips that do not fully contact the substrate.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
