Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a relatively porous white marble and should be sealed before grouting and after installation with a penetrating stone sealer. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 12 months to protect against moisture, staining, and mineral buildup. The light color makes regular sealing especially important to prevent discoloration from soap, oils, and hard water.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a mild diluted dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon, bleach) or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch and dull the honed surface. Wipe up spills promptly, particularly anything acidic. The honed finish, while more forgiving than polished, still requires gentle daily care.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey bleed-through on this light-colored stone. Align mesh sheets carefully during layout to maintain consistent grout joint spacing. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch to avoid scratching the honed surface. Back-butter individual chips in corners or cut areas for full adhesive coverage, and allow sheets to fully cure before grouting.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
