Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a moderately porous white marble that should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and installation. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 6–12 months to prevent staining and moisture penetration. Its pale ground is particularly susceptible to discoloration from oils, soaps, and hard water if left unsealed.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaners, as these will etch the honed surface and dull its finish. Wipe spills promptly, especially oils and colored liquids, as the honed surface is more absorbent than a polished one.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid shadowing through the pale stone. For the small 1×4 mosaic joints, use non-sanded grout (1/16" or less joint width) to prevent scratching the honed surface. Align mesh sheets carefully during installation, maintaining consistent joint spacing at sheet seams. Back-butter individual chips in areas with heavy contact for improved bond strength.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
