Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a porous white marble that requires sealing before installation and regular maintenance sealing thereafter. Apply a penetrating stone sealer rated for dolomitic marble prior to grouting, and reseal every 6–12 months in high-moisture areas such as showers and bathroom floors. The white ground is particularly susceptible to staining from oils, iron, and colored liquids — do not skip sealing.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, and anything abrasive, as these will etch the honed surface and dull its appearance over time. Wipe up spills — especially coffee, wine, and oils — immediately to prevent staining of the white ground.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey adhesive from telegraphing through the white stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for full coverage, which is essential with large-format tiles to prevent hollow spots and cracking. Install with a minimum 1/16-inch grout joint and use a non-sanded or fine-sanded grout in a tone that complements the veining. Ensure the subfloor is level to within 1/8 inch over 10 feet before installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
