A white marble with soft grey veining, in a 12 × 24 format with a smooth, matte honed surface.

Bianco Dolomite is a white marble with a bright, crystalline ground. Soft grey veining runs across the face in long, horizontal sweeps. The honed finish is smooth and matte, so the stone reads calm rather than glossy.

The 12 × 24 rectangle suits straight-set, offset or vertical layouts, with fewer grout lines than a smaller format. Use it on indoor walls, backsplashes and low-traffic floors. It sits well beside warm wood, brushed metal and soft white grout.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting. Reseal as needed, more often in high-moisture areas. The white ground shows oils, iron and colored liquids.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner, warm water and a soft cloth or mop. Wipe spills promptly, especially coffee, wine and oil.

Expect This

Acidic cleaners, vinegar and citrus can etch a honed surface and dull it. Veining and tone vary from tile to tile, so mix tiles from several boxes as you lay them.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this marble need sealing?

Seal it before grouting with a penetrating stone sealer, then reseal as needed. Sealing helps the white ground resist staining from oils and colored liquids.

How much should I order?

Each tile covers 2 sq ft. Measure your area, add 10% for cuts and waste, and order it all at once so the tile comes from a single lot.

Can I use it outdoors?

Keep it indoors, on floors and walls. Natural marble is not rated for freeze-thaw exposure.

How do I clean honed marble?

Wipe it with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Skip vinegar, citrus and abrasive products, which can etch the honed surface.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
