Jerusalem Gold Limestone16 × 24 Brushed

Jerusalem Gold is a cream-to-honey limestone in a 16×24 format with a soft, brushed face.

The face is a pale cream-gold with sandy beige and amber shading. Fine, darker veining lines and small pitted, fossil-like marks run through it. Across the nine tiles in the layout photo, the tone shifts from creamy to more golden.

The 16×24 rectangle can be laid straight or staggered, with fewer grout joints than a smaller format. The brushed finish is soft and matte with a light texture. It sits well beside warm oak, walnut and brushed brass.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before installation, then reseal as needed. Limestone is porous, and a light stone shows water minerals, soap and oils quickly.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth. Avoid vinegar, citrus and other acids, which etch limestone. Wipe spills promptly.

Expect This

Expect natural color shifts, veining and small fossil-like marks from tile to tile. These are part of the stone. Mix tiles from several boxes as you lay them.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this limestone need sealing?

Seal it before installation and reseal as needed to guard against stains. Limestone is porous, and this light stone shows spills readily. A penetrating stone sealer is the usual choice.

How much should I order?

Measure your area, then add 10% for cuts and fit. Each 16×24 tile covers about 2.67 sq ft, and the price is per sq ft. Ordering everything at once keeps the job in one lot.

Can I use it outdoors?

Use it on indoor floors and walls, where the brushed finish and warm color show best. Outdoors, freeze-thaw cycles can damage limestone, so we suggest keeping it inside.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
