Sealing: Jerusalem Gold Limestone is a porous, relatively soft stone that requires thorough sealing before installation and regular resealing every 12–18 months, or more frequently in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. Apply a premium penetrating (impregnating) stone sealer and allow full cure time before grouting or exposing to moisture.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or warm water only — never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline product, as limestone is highly susceptible to etching and surface damage from chemical exposure. Wipe spills promptly, especially acidic substances like juice, wine, or coffee, to prevent staining and etching on the honed surface.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray bleed-through on this light-toned stone. For 24×24 large-format tiles, back-butter each tile in addition to the substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids. Use tile leveling clips to maintain a flat plane across the large format, and select a sanded grout in a warm ivory or cream tone to complement the stone's natural palette.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
