A cream limestone with ivory, amber, and caramel tones, honed to a matte finish in a large 24 × 24 format.

Jerusalem Gold is a warm limestone that moves between ivory, soft amber, and caramel. Look closely and you'll find fine fossil-like inclusions and gentle layering. The honed finish is matte and smooth, so the color reads quietly and water spots show less than on polished stone.

Each tile covers 4 sq ft, which means fewer grout lines across a floor or feature wall. It is sold per sq ft. Limestone is softer and more porous than marble or granite, so plan to seal it before and after installation.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before installation and let it cure fully before grouting. Reseal every 12-18 months, or more often in wet areas.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner or warm water. Avoid vinegar, citrus cleaners, bleach, and other acidic or alkaline products. Wipe up juice, wine, and coffee promptly.

Expect This

Limestone is softer and more porous than marble or granite, so honed surfaces can etch or stain. Expect color shifts, fossil traces, and tonal depth from tile to tile.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this limestone need to be sealed?

Yes, sealing is recommended. Apply a penetrating stone sealer before installation, let it cure before grouting, and reseal every 12-18 months. Wet areas may need it more often.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

You can use it on indoor bathroom walls once it is sealed. Shower floors and other constantly wet floors are not confirmed for this tile, so ask us before planning one.

Any tips for installing a 24 × 24 tile?

Use a white polymer-modified thinset to avoid gray showing through the light stone. Back-butter each tile, use leveling clips, and choose a sanded grout in warm ivory or cream.

Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
