Jerusalem Gold Limestone12 × 12 Honed

A honed 12 × 12 limestone in honey, cream and soft gold, with pale swirls and fine natural markings.

The face runs from cream to warm honey and amber. Pale swirls move across some tiles. Small fossil-like flecks and fine hairline marks show up throughout. Each tile reads a little differently, which is part of limestone's character.

The honed finish is smooth and matte, so it softens the stone's warmth instead of reflecting it. The 12 × 12 square suits straight or diagonal layouts. It sits well beside brass, walnut or white oak, and warm off-white walls.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal before installation with a penetrating sealer made for limestone. Reseal every 12-18 months, or yearly in wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft mop or cloth. Blot spills right away. Avoid vinegar, lemon, bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads.

Expect This

Limestone is porous and can etch or stain if left unsealed. Expect moderate shade variation, fossil markings and tonal shifts from tile to tile.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this limestone need sealing?

Sealing keeps the stone protected and easier to maintain. Seal before installation, then reseal every 12-18 months, or yearly in wet areas. Use a penetrating sealer made for limestone.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Bathroom walls are a good fit when the stone is sealed and resealed regularly. For shower floors, check with your installer first, since that use is not confirmed for this tile.

How much should I order?

Each 12 × 12 tile covers 1 sq ft. Measure your area, then add 10% for cuts and waste. Order it all at once so every tile comes from the same lot.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
