Sealing: Calacatta Gold marble is a porous natural stone and must be sealed before installation and regularly thereafter. Apply a high-quality penetrating stone sealer prior to grouting, and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers. The honed finish is more absorbent than polished marble and benefits from more frequent sealing attention.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus, bleach), abrasive scrubbers, and grout haze removers containing acid, as these will etch and permanently dull the honed surface. Wipe up spills — especially wine, coffee, and oils — immediately.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray bleed-through on this pale stone. Back-butter each tile for full coverage, particularly important on floor applications. Use a 1/8" to 3/16" grout joint with unsanded or fine-sanded grout in a light ivory or white tone to complement the stone's color palette. Ensure a flat, well-prepared substrate to prevent lippage across the 6×12 format.

Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
