Sealing: Jerusalem Gold Limestone must be sealed prior to installation and re-sealed every 12–18 months, or annually in wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Use a penetrating (impregnating) sealer rated for limestone. The honed finish, while more forgiving than polished, is still porous and susceptible to staining from oils, wine, and acidic liquids if left unsealed.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft mop or cloth. Never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, ammonia, or any acidic or alkaline cleaners, as these will etch and damage the limestone surface. Blot spills immediately rather than wiping, to prevent spreading. Avoid abrasive scrub pads that can scratch the honed surface.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any gray bleed-through on this light-colored stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent hollow spots. Allow for 1/8" grout joints and use a sanded grout in a color matched to the stone's golden tones. Ensure the substrate is flat, clean, and structurally sound before installation. For outdoor applications, use a frost-resistant setting mortar and ensure proper drainage slope.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
