Polished white Carrara marble in 1 × 2 chips, set in a brick-joint pattern on a mesh-backed 12 × 12 sheet.

Soft white marble with fine blue-grey veining. The polished face reflects light and shows the veining clearly. Small 1 × 2 chips in a staggered brick-joint layout add texture without crowding a smaller wall.

Chips come pre-mounted on fiberglass mesh, so a full sheet sets in one pass with even spacing. It suits kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls and decorative niches.

Expect slight shade variation (V2) from chip to chip. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. In wet areas such as showers, reapply every 6–12 months, or more often with daily moisture.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Avoid vinegar, citrus, bleach and other acidic or alkaline products, which can etch the polish. Wipe spills promptly.

Expect This

Polished marble can etch and scratch with use. Chips vary slightly in tone and veining, which is normal for natural stone.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How do I order a sample?

Can I use it on a kitchen backsplash or in a shower?

Yes, it suits indoor walls, including backsplashes and shower walls. Seal the marble before grouting and again after installation, then reseal on a regular schedule in wet areas.

What should I use to set and grout it?

Use white polymer-modified thinset so grey adhesive does not show through the pale chips. Non-sanded grout suits the narrow joints of a 1 × 2 mosaic.

Can it go on a floor?

It can work on a low-traffic indoor floor. Polished marble can scratch and etch underfoot, so for busy floors a honed finish or a different material may wear better.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
