Sealing: Porcelain tile is virtually non-porous and does not require sealing. However, if a grout sealer is desired for grout joint protection in wet or high-traffic areas, apply a penetrating grout sealer after installation and reapply annually in shower or steam environments.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner and a soft mop or microfiber cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, vinegar, or bleach-based products that can dull the matte finish over time. For textured matte surfaces, a soft-bristle brush helps remove residue from the micro-texture.

Installation: Use a large-format tile trowel (1/2" × 1/2" square-notch) with a gray polymer-modified thinset to accommodate the 12×24 size and avoid lippage. Back-butter each tile to achieve full coverage, especially on floors. Rectified edges allow for grout joints as tight as 1/16", though 1/8" joints are recommended for floor applications. Stagger joints at 1/3 offset to minimize lippage risk.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
