Sealing: Porcelain tile is non-porous and does not require sealing. Grout joints, however, should be sealed with a penetrating grout sealer after installation and resealed annually in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner and warm water using a microfiber mop or soft cloth. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners, bleach, and abrasive scrubbing pads, which can dull the honed matte surface over time. For stubborn grout haze post-installation, use a manufacturer-approved grout haze remover appropriate for matte porcelain.

Installation: Use a large-format tile trowel with a 3/8-inch notch and back-butter each tile to ensure full coverage, particularly important for floor applications. Install with a 1/16–1/8 inch grout joint using an unsanded or fine-sanded grout in a complementary greige or warm gray tone. For a seamless wood-plank effect, stagger joints at a 1/3 or 1/2 offset; for herringbone, use a laser level to maintain consistent 45° angles.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
