Sealing: Asian Statuary is a light, porous marble that should be sealed prior to installation and re-sealed every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. Use a penetrating (impregnating) stone sealer rated for white or light-colored marble to prevent staining from dark grout, oils, and minerals. In lower-exposure areas such as foyers or feature walls, annual sealing is generally sufficient.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a few drops of dish soap diluted in warm water — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaner, as these will etch the polished surface and cause permanent dull spots. Wipe spills immediately, especially red wine, coffee, and citrus, to prevent staining. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the high-gloss finish.

Installation: Use a bright white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey adhesive from telegraphing through the translucent stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent lippage or hollow spots. Use a non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch, and consider a white or light grey grout to complement the stone's palette and minimize visual interruption across the field.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
