Polished white marble in a 4 × 12 plank, with soft grey veining for walls, backsplashes and feature surfaces.

Asian Statuary, also sold as Oriental White, is a white marble with a bright background and grey veining. Some veins run fine and pencil-thin. Others are broader, with hints of taupe. The polished face is smooth and reflective, and it shows the depth of the stone's color.

The 4 × 12 plank works in a horizontal brick-lay, a vertical stack or a herringbone. Run it up a shower wall to draw the eye toward the ceiling. Or lay it flat behind a range for a calm, even rhythm.

Veining and tone change from tile to tile, rated V3 for moderate variation. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free, within 1-3 business days. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again right after installation. In wet areas such as showers, reapply every 6-12 months. Use white thinset so dark adhesive does not show through.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Blot spills quickly. Avoid vinegar, lemon, bleach and abrasive scrubbers, which can etch or scratch the polish.

Expect This

Veining and tone vary from tile to tile. Acids can dull a polished surface, and the white background can show stains from oils or iron in water if it is left unsealed.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How do I order samples?

Can I use it on a shower wall?

Yes. Bathroom shower walls are a listed application. Seal the tile before grouting and again after installation. For wet floors, a honed or textured finish is the safer choice.

Can I use it on a floor?

Yes, on indoor, light-duty floors that stay dry. Polished marble can be slippery when wet, so a honed finish suits busier or wetter floors better.

How many tiles do I need per square foot?

Each 4 × 12 tile covers 0.33 sq ft, so you need 3 tiles per sq ft. Add 10% for cuts and layout, and order it all at once.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
