Sealing: Oriental White marble is a light, porous stone that requires sealing before grouting and use. Apply a penetrating stone sealer rated for marble prior to installation, and reseal every 6–12 months in shower or wet-area applications. The bright white background can show staining readily, so consistent sealing is especially important.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline product, as these will etch the honed surface and dull its appearance. Wipe spills promptly, particularly oils, wine, and citrus liquids. The honed finish, while more forgiving of water spots than polished marble, can still show etch marks from acidic substances.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through on this pale stone. For the small lantern chips, non-sanded grout is recommended for joints under 1/8 inch. Align mesh sheets carefully during layout to maintain consistent pattern flow across seams. Back-butter individual chips on larger sheets if lippage is a concern, and allow full cure before grouting.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
