Bianco Carrara & BardiglioDC Metro Eckington Hexagon, Polished

Large white Carrara hexagons set with small Bardiglio triangles, on a mesh-backed sheet for indoor walls and backsplashes.

Each hexagon is Bianco Carrara: a soft white ground with grey veining that runs differently from piece to piece. Small blue-grey Bardiglio triangles sit between them and trace a darker outline around the pattern. The result is graphic, but quiet in tone.

The polished face sharpens the contrast between pale Carrara and deeper Bardiglio. Set it on a bath wall, a kitchen backsplash or a powder room feature wall. Shade variation is moderate (V3), so expect real differences in veining from sheet to sheet.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal before grouting and regularly after. In wet areas, reseal every 6–12 months with a penetrating sealer made for natural stone. Give the lighter Carrara extra attention.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Wipe spills quickly, especially oil, coffee and wine. Avoid vinegar, bleach and citrus cleaners.

Expect This

Acidic products can etch and dull the polished face. Veining and tone differ from sheet to sheet. White thinset keeps grey from showing through the Carrara.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Where can I use this mosaic?

Use it on indoor walls and backsplashes, including bath walls, kitchen backsplashes and powder rooms. Polished marble can be slippery, so floors are best left to other tile.

Does it need to be sealed?

Yes, sealing is recommended. Seal before grouting and again regularly with a penetrating sealer made for natural stone. This helps protect the pale Carrara from staining.

Does this mosaic qualify for free shipping?

Yes. Free shipping applies to mosaics on orders over $1,999.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
