Metallico Copper Rim1×1 Chips, 11.7×11.7 Sheet

One-inch copper metal squares in warm browns, rust and weathered green-gray, set on an 11.7-inch sheet.

Metallico Copper Rim is a square-chip metal mosaic. Each 1×1 chip carries its own tone: reddish copper, deep brown and touches of green-gray. Together they read as a worn, layered surface rather than a flat metallic.

Each 11.7 × 11.7 inch sheet covers 0.95 sq ft and is sold per sheet. Dark joints between the chips add definition, so the pattern holds up at a distance and up close. Dry indoor walls and backsplashes are natural places to start.

Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. Order one to judge the tones in your own light. Chip tones vary, and delivered sheets may look somewhat different from a photo or sample, so order your full quantity at once.

Care & Cleaning

Clean It

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Skip abrasive pads, which can scratch metal.

Expect This

Chips vary in tone across the sheet, as the photo shows. Delivered sheets may look somewhat different from any photo or sample, so order your full quantity at once.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Questions

How many sheets do I need?

Divide your wall area in square feet by 0.95, then round up. Add about 10% for cuts and waste. Each sheet covers 0.95 sq ft.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

Will my order look like the sample or photo?

Your sample shows the copper tones and surface of this mosaic so you can judge it in your own light. Chip tones vary across a sheet, so delivered sheets may look somewhat different from any single photo or sample. Order your full quantity at once.

Can I use it on a backsplash or accent wall?

Yes. Dry indoor walls and kitchen backsplashes are good uses for this 1×1 copper mosaic. Pair it with a dark grout to keep the chip pattern defined.

Can I use it in a shower?

You can use it on dry-area walls and backsplashes now. Shower suitability isn't confirmed for this product, so ask us before planning a wet-area install.

Why Order a Sample
A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

Good to Know

  • Samples are final sale — non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • We recommend sampling before every full order, especially for natural stone.

Talk to a Specialist
Our stone and tile specialists will help you narrow it down. Call (855) 797-8453 or email sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM PT.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Questions Before You Order?
Call (855) 797-8453 or email sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5 PM PT. If you're unsure about freight access at your address, ask us before checkout — we'll flag anything that could hold up delivery.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.

Responsibility
Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. We are not responsible for installation, labor costs, substrate conditions, setting materials, product misuse, or damage from handling, sealing, maintenance, or chemicals. No claims, returns, or replacements are accepted on installed material.

California Proposition 65
Some natural stone and porcelain products contain substances known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. Details at www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
