Sealing: Honed Carrara marble is more porous than polished stone and must be sealed before grouting and after installation. Apply a penetrating stone sealer rated for honed marble and reapply every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers. White and pale stones show staining more readily, so consistent sealing maintenance is essential.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaner diluted in warm water — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline product, as these will etch and dull the honed surface. Wipe spills promptly, especially oils, wine, and coffee, and avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the matte finish.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent grey bleed-through on the pale stone surface. Align mesh sheets carefully, maintaining consistent joint spacing, and press firmly with a grout float to ensure full contact. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch. Back-butter individual chips if installing on a porous substrate to ensure maximum bond. Dry-lay sheets before setting to verify pattern direction and flow.

Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
