Sealing: Honed Carrara marble is more porous than its polished counterpart and should be sealed with a premium penetrating stone sealer prior to installation. Reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers, and annually in lower-humidity applications such as kitchen backsplashes. White and light-toned stones show staining more readily, so consistent sealing is especially important.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a mild, soap-free solution and a soft cloth. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, and abrasive scrubbers — acids will etch the honed surface, leaving dull or rough patches. Wipe spills promptly, particularly oils, wine, and coffee, which can penetrate a honed surface more quickly than a polished one.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray adhesive from telegraphing through the stone. Dry-fit pieces along the full run before setting to plan joint placement and minimize cuts. Apply thinset to both the wall substrate and the back of each molding piece (back-buttering) to ensure full coverage on the profiled face. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch. Allow full cure before exposing to moisture.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
