Sealing: White Carrara marble is a relatively porous stone and should be sealed before grouting and regularly thereafter. In wet areas such as showers, re-seal every 6–12 months with a penetrating impregnating sealer rated for natural marble. The polished surface is particularly susceptible to etching from acidic substances, so a quality sealer is essential to protecting the finish.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Avoid all acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products), bleach, and alkaline detergents, as they will etch and dull the polished surface permanently. Wipe up spills promptly, especially coffee, wine, juice, and soap residue, to prevent staining and surface damage.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through showing beneath the translucent marble. For grout joints on pencil liners, use non-sanded grout to avoid scratching the polished face. Back-butter each liner piece for full adhesion, and align pieces carefully end-to-end using tile spacers to maintain consistent joint spacing. Cut with a wet saw fitted with a diamond blade designed for natural stone.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects.
