Sealing: White Carrara marble is a porous stone and must be sealed prior to grouting and after installation. In wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors, reseal every 6–12 months with a penetrating stone sealer to prevent staining and moisture absorption. The pale coloring of Carrara makes it especially susceptible to showing stains, so consistent sealing is critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or acidic bathroom cleaners, as these will etch the honed surface and dull the finish permanently. The matte honed surface is more forgiving than polished marble in terms of showing water spots, but etching from acids is still a serious concern. Wipe spills immediately, especially oils, wine, and citrus.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey bleed-through showing beneath the pale stone. Align mesh-backed sheets carefully, leaving consistent grout joints between sheets to match the joints within each sheet. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch. Back-butter each sheet lightly in addition to troweling the substrate for maximum adhesion, especially on floors.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
