Sealing: Seal with a high-quality penetrating stone sealer before grouting and after installation. In wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors, reseal every 6–12 months to protect against moisture infiltration and staining. White Carrara is especially susceptible to discoloration if left unsealed near iron-containing water sources.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners — vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, and ammonia-based products will etch the polished surface, causing dull spots that are difficult to restore. Wipe up spills promptly, especially colored liquids, oils, and acidic substances.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent show-through on the pale Carrara chips. For the small grout joints typical of mosaic layouts, use non-sanded or unsanded grout in white or light grey. Press mesh sheets firmly and uniformly with a grout float to ensure full contact. Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.

Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
