Sealing: White Carrara marble should be sealed with a high-quality penetrating stone sealer before grouting and re-sealed every 12 months in dry areas, or every 6 months in wet areas such as showers. The light ground color makes this stone more susceptible to staining from oils, wine, and minerals, so prompt sealing and re-sealing are especially important.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a diluted solution of mild dish soap and warm water — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaner, as these will etch the polished surface and permanently dull its finish. Wipe up spills immediately, particularly coffee, wine, citrus, and cosmetic products. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the polished face.

Installation: Always use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent grey adhesive from telegraphing through the translucent stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to spreading thinset on the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent hollow spots. Use a 3/16" to 1/4" notched trowel and maintain consistent grout joints of at least 1/16". Allow full cure before grouting, and use a non-sanded or fine-sanded white grout to complement the stone's color.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
