Sealing: White Carrara marble is a relatively porous stone and should be sealed with a penetrating impregnating stone sealer before grouting and immediately after installation. In wet areas such as shower floors, reapply sealer every 6–12 months to maintain stain resistance and protect the pale surface from discoloration.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone soap or mild dish soap diluted in warm water — never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline product, as these will etch the marble surface. Blot spills promptly, especially oils, coffee, and colored liquids, which can penetrate and stain light marble quickly.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through on this pale stone. Because the chips are small and the joints irregular, a non-sanded or fine-sanded grout in a complementary white or light grey tone is recommended. Align mesh sheets carefully during layout, leaving consistent grout joint spacing between sheets, and press firmly with a grout float or rubber mallet to ensure full mortar contact with each irregular fragment.
