White Carrara Marble Diamond Mosaic1 × 2 Diamond Honed

White Carrara marble in small honed diamonds, pre-set on a mesh-backed sheet for a soft, quietly patterned surface.

Each 1 × 2 inch chip is cut as a diamond and set on a mesh-backed sheet, so the pattern arrives pre-arranged. The soft white ground carries blue-grey veining. The honed finish is matte and calm, and the veining stays readable up close.

Small diamonds reward close viewing. Consider a kitchen backsplash, a powder room wall or a bathroom feature wall. As natural marble, it varies in veining and tone from sheet to sheet (shade variation V2, slight). Sealing is recommended. Your sample comes from the lot we have in stock now, so it shows that lot's actual color range and finish. Future lots may look lighter, darker, or more veined, so order your full quantity plus 10% at once to keep the whole job from one lot.

Where It Works

  • Kitchen backsplashA small-scale pattern that rewards close viewing behind a range or sink.
  • Bathroom feature wallThe honed diamonds add quiet geometry to a vanity or tub wall.
  • Powder room accent wallA compact space where the pattern can be seen at arm's length.
  • Low-traffic indoor floorA dry, light-use floor, sealed before grouting.
  • Outdoor and pool areasNot recommended. Natural marble is not rated for freeze-thaw exposure.
  • Commercial or heavy-traffic floorsNot recommended. Honed marble can etch and wear under heavy use.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer to all surfaces before grouting. Honed marble is more porous than polished, and light stone shows stains readily. In wet areas, reseal every 6 to 12 months.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap in warm water. Avoid vinegar, lemon-based products, bleach and abrasive scrubbers, which can etch the honed surface. Wipe up coffee, wine, citrus and oil promptly.

Expect This

Veining and tone differ from chip to chip and sheet to sheet. Marble is a soft stone, and a honed surface can show etching over time. That is part of how natural marble ages.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Questions

Will my order look like the sample?

Your sample comes from the lot we have in stock now, so it shows that lot's actual color range and finish. Future lots may look lighter, darker, or more veined, so order your full quantity plus 10% at once to keep the whole job from one lot.

How do I order a sample?

You can order up to 10 samples per order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. Hold yours against your cabinetry, counters and paint in your own light.

Does this mosaic need to be sealed?

You can protect it with a penetrating stone sealer, which is recommended for honed marble. Apply it before grouting, and reseal every 6 to 12 months in wet areas.

Which thinset should I use?

A white polymer-modified thinset keeps grey from showing through the pale chips. Align the mesh sheets carefully and keep joint spacing consistent. Confirm your setting materials with your installer.

Does this mosaic qualify for free shipping?

Yes, mosaic orders over $1,999 ship free. Smaller orders ship at the rate calculated at checkout.

Why Order a Sample
A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

Good to Know

  • Samples are final sale — non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • We recommend sampling before every full order, especially for natural stone.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Questions Before You Order?
Call (855) 797-8453 or email sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5 PM PT. If you're unsure about freight access at your address, ask us before checkout — we'll flag anything that could hold up delivery.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.

Responsibility
Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. We are not responsible for installation, labor costs, substrate conditions, setting materials, product misuse, or damage from handling, sealing, maintenance, or chemicals. No claims, returns, or replacements are accepted on installed material.

California Proposition 65
