Sealing: White Carrara marble is a porous natural stone that must be sealed before grouting and regularly thereafter. Apply a penetrating stone sealer prior to installation and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers or backsplashes behind the sink. The pale white tone makes this stone particularly susceptible to staining from oils, wine, and colored liquids, so consistent sealing is essential.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft, damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon-based products), bleach, and abrasive scrubbing pads — acids will etch the honed surface and dull the finish permanently. Wipe up spills immediately, especially from citrus, coffee, and oils.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey adhesive from telegraphing through the pale stone. Install sheet by sheet, pressing firmly to ensure full contact with the substrate. Use non-sanded grout for the narrow joints typical of mosaic installations. Back-butter individual sheets in areas with uneven substrate. Allow full cure before exposing to water.

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
