Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a light, porous marble that should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and after installation. In wet areas such as shower floors, reseal every 6–12 months to protect against moisture infiltration and staining. Pay particular attention to the white field tiles, which are more susceptible to discoloration from soap, oils, and hard water.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), bleach, or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch and dull the polished surface of both the white marble and the black dot inserts. Wipe up spills immediately, especially acidic substances like wine, juice, or coffee, which can etch polished marble quickly.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey bleed-through showing beneath the bright white Bianco Dolomite chips. Apply non-sanded grout for the tight mosaic joints (typically 1/16 to 1/8 inch). Align mesh sheets carefully edge-to-edge to maintain consistent basketweave pattern continuity across the installation, and back-butter each sheet lightly in addition to troweling the substrate for maximum bond in wet applications.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
