Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a light, porous marble that should be sealed with a premium penetrating stone sealer before grouting and immediately after installation. In wet areas such as shower floors, reapply sealer every 6–12 months to prevent staining and moisture absorption. The honed finish, while less prone to showing etching visually than polished marble, is still susceptible to acid penetration, so consistent sealing is especially important for white and pale stones.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber mop or cloth — never use vinegar, bleach, ammonia, or acidic household cleaners, as these will etch and permanently dull the marble surface. Wipe up spills immediately, especially acidic substances like citrus juice, wine, or coffee. Avoid abrasive scrub pads that can scratch the honed surface.

Installation: Always use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey or dark adhesive from telegraphing through the white marble chips. Install using non-sanded grout for the fine joints around the dot inserts, and sanded grout if joint widths exceed 1/8 inch for the octagon field. Back-butter each mesh sheet lightly in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for full coverage. Align mesh sheets carefully at seams to maintain consistent pattern flow across the installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
