Calacatta Gold Marble12 × 24 Honed

A white marble field tile with soft gray and warm gold veining, in a 12 × 24 format with a honed, matte surface.

The field is a bright, clean white. Veining moves from pale gray into warm gold, amber and taupe. The honed finish is smooth and matte, so the veins read softly instead of catching the light.

The 12 × 24 format means fewer grout joints and longer runs of vein across a wall or floor. It suits bath walls, backsplashes, feature walls and indoor floors. Sealing is recommended.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting. Reapply as the sealer maker directs. White marble shows oil, wine and coffee stains if left unsealed.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap in warm water. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Skip vinegar, lemon, bleach, ammonia and abrasive scrubbers, which can etch a honed surface.

Expect This

Vein pattern and color intensity vary from tile to tile, and the variation is moderate (V3). Honed marble can etch over time. Wipe spills quickly.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Where can I use this tile?

Indoor floors and walls are good fits, including bath walls, backsplashes and feature walls, once the stone is sealed. For shower floors, check with your installer first, since this tile is not listed for that use.

How much should I order?

Each piece covers 2 sq ft, and the tile is sold per sq ft. Add 10% to your measured area for cuts and waste, and order it all at once so it comes from one lot.

Does it need to be sealed?

Seal it before grouting and keep it sealed afterward. A penetrating stone sealer helps protect the white field from stains, and honed marble can still etch from acids.

Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
