Sealing: Calacatta Gold Marble should be sealed prior to installation and resealed every 6–12 months in wet areas such as shower surrounds. The white and pale gold tones are particularly susceptible to staining from oils, hard water, and colored liquids, so a high-quality penetrating stone sealer is strongly recommended.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners — including vinegar, lemon-based products, and bleach — which will etch the honed surface and dull the finish permanently. Although honed marble is more forgiving than polished with water marks, prompt drying after use in wet areas is still advised.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray adhesive from showing through the light stone. Back-butter each tile for full coverage, especially when installing in wet areas. Allow for standard 1/16″ to 1/8″ grout joints and use a non-sanded or fine-sanded white grout. Ensure the substrate is flat and waterproofed before installation in shower or wet environments.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
