Lantern-shaped chips of polished white marble, veined in soft gray and warm gold, mounted together on a mesh-backed sheet.

A bright white ground carries thin gray veins and warmer streaks of gold and honey. The polished face reflects light and deepens the contrast. Interlocking lantern shapes build a continuous, lattice-like rhythm across the wall, so the pattern itself becomes the focal point.

Some chips run cooler and whiter, others lean cream or ivory. That range is part of the stone. Expect a moderate (V3) spread in tone and vein from chip to chip. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting, then maintain it regularly. In wet areas, reseal every 6–12 months. The white ground shows oil, coffee and hard-water stains if left unsealed.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Wipe up spills such as oil, wine and citrus right away. Keep vinegar and acidic grout cleaners away from the surface.

Expect This

Every chip carries its own vein and tone. Acids can etch a polished surface and dull the finish. A white thinset helps keep gray adhesive from showing through light chips.

Does this mosaic need sealing?

Sealing protects the white marble from stains, and it is recommended. Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and keep up with it afterward, resealing every 6–12 months in wet areas.

Can I use it on a floor?

This mosaic works best on indoor walls and backsplashes, where the polished finish shows well. Polished marble gets slippery when wet, so we suggest keeping it off floors.

Does shipping cost less on larger orders?

Mosaics ship free on orders over $1,999 within the continental U.S. Smaller orders ship at the rate calculated at checkout.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
