A creamy beige limestone with ivory and warm taupe mottling, cut as a large 18×18 square with a calm, honed surface.

Crema Perlino has a cream-beige base with soft ivory, taupe and golden tones. Expect a fine grain, cloudy patches of deeper color and occasional fossil traces. The honed surface is smooth and matte, so the stone reads warm and quiet rather than glossy.

The 18×18 square is a large field tile. Fewer grout joints give a more continuous surface, which suits indoor floors, entries and full-height bath walls. Brushed brass and wood tones sit comfortably against the neutral color.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Limestone is porous. Apply a penetrating sealer before grouting. Reseal every 12–18 months in bathrooms. Light cream tones show oil and liquid stains more readily.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft mop or cloth. Avoid vinegar, citrus cleaners, alkaline degreasers and abrasive pads.

Expect This

Wipe spills quickly, since acids can etch and dull a honed surface. Tiles will vary in tone, grain and fossil detail from piece to piece.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How much should I order?

Each 18×18 tile covers 2.25 sq ft. Add 10% to your measured area for cuts and waste, and order it all at once so everything comes from one lot.

Does it need sealing?

You can seal it with a penetrating stone sealer applied before grouting. Resealing every 12–18 months is advised in bathrooms. Sealing helps resist staining but does not make the stone stain-proof.

Where can I use it?

Use it indoors on floors and walls, such as living areas, entries, bathroom walls and feature walls. Exterior use is not confirmed, so we suggest choosing another product for outdoors.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
