Sealing: Crema Perlino limestone is porous and must be sealed before grouting and again after installation. In wet areas such as showers, re-seal every 12 months with a penetrating stone sealer to prevent moisture absorption and staining. Its light, warm tone makes regular sealing especially important to guard against discoloration.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone soap and warm water only. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or anything abrasive — limestone is sensitive to acids and will etch or dull permanently. For the honed finish, avoid harsh scrubbing pads that can scratch the smooth matte surface.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset to avoid any gray bleed-through on this pale limestone. Ensure the substrate is flat and fully cured before applying pencil liner pieces end-to-end for seamless runs. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
