Sealing: Porcelain is non-porous and does not require sealing. The polished glaze is factory-applied and permanent — no topical sealers are needed or recommended, as they can cloud the glossy surface.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone or tile cleaner and a soft microfiber mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), abrasive scrubbers, or bleach-based products, which can dull or etch the polished glaze over time. Wipe spills promptly as the high-gloss finish can show water spots and residue more readily than matte finishes.

Installation: Use a white or light-grey polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent color bleed-through on the light-toned tile body. Back-butter each tile in addition to troweling the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent hollow spots, especially important with 12×24 large-format tiles. Use a 1/4-inch offset (33%) brick pattern to minimize lippage, and allow for proper expansion joints at perimeters and field breaks per TCNA guidelines.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
